Having faced challenges with illness, Sam turned to nature for support, savouring moments outdoors to overcome life's hurdles. 'A Mountain To Lean On' reflects on how even the biggest psychological and physical storms can be tamed by the presence and perspective of a natural environment. Presented alongside, Sam crafted the 'No Mountain Too High' pocket series, a limited set of hand made, unique, micro-artworks depicting interpretations of the transformations in 'A Mountain Too Lean On'. They are small enough to carry, reminding us all that nature can put our own mountains into perspective.
